Enjoy the 'other' Cornwall out of high season, with miles of almost deserted walks and beaches, quiet roads, villages and towns, with the reassurance that your cosy lodge or cottage awaits your return. It is also an ideal time to enjoy Forda's year-round amenities – the indoor heated pool is the same temperature as summer and the sauna and spa hot tub are there to warm you up.

Spa treatments are sometimes even better when its cooler and the fishing has a surprisingly long season in mild Cornwall.

Weekly bookings are available and also shorter breaks are available before Easter, in the second half of April and after October half-term week (and sometimes in  early May and mid-October). At other times, last minute short breaks may also be available at short notice (4 weeks from travel date) if we have remaining availability or late cancellations in high season.

Reduced rates are available when only two people are sharing a lodge.

Breaks start at 2 nights but 3 or 4 nights are better value. Prices are based on a percentage of the weekly tariff (to the nearest  pound): 2 nights - 45%, 3 nights - 60%, 4 nights 75%, 5 nights - 85%, 6 nights - 90% (prices are all inclusive of linen, towels, electricity, heating etc) – please call or email for availability and prices.

Christmas & New Year

An ideal time to get away from it all – to the peaceful magic of Forda.

Arrival and departure dates and times are by flexible arrangement, for any number of nights (minimum stay 4 nights). See our main tariff page for stays of between 4 nights and a week and please enquire for longer stays.

All amenities are open and, as always, prices are all inclusive. In addition, by request we will decorate your lodge or cottage with tree etc (free of charge). At this time of year the usual Forda welcome tray is supplemented by a bottle of 'bubbly', mince pies and the seasonal edition of the Radio Times to welcome you to Forda.
