Directions
Leave the M5 at Junction 27, taking the A361 towards Barnstaple, then the A39 ('Atlantic Highway') towards Bude. Proceed as far as Kilkhampton and take the B3254 on the left (signposted to Launceston, Holsworthy & Tamar Lakes. After ¾ mile take the small road on the left signposted to Tamar Lakes, after a further ¾ mile the entrance to Forda is on the left.
Alternative route: from the end of the M5 after Exeter (J31) take the A30 dual-carriageway. Bypassing Okehampton, follow signs for Bude, taking the A3079 and A3072, past Holsworthy as far as Red Post crossroads and turn right on the B3254, signposted to Kilkhampton. Before the village take the small road on the right signposted to Tamar Lakes and after ¾ mile the entrance is on the left.
Warning for sat-nav users! The only people who have got lost on their way to Forda were using sat-nav - especially set for the shortest route - it often takes you down some very small and obsure lanes. Our directions use main roads!
