Booking and Enquiries
Booking a holiday with us is easy.

Just contact us to confirm availability and to reserve your lodge or cottage. Please enquire by either telephoning 01288 321413 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by completing the enquiry form (quick link on the right).
We welcome telephone enquiries as it is still the safest and quickest form of communication, with no chance of emails going astray or being blocked by spam filters. It can often save a number of emails and we can make sure that the accommodation chosen suits your requirements. There is usually one of us here but if we are away from the office, please leave a message on our answer phone and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Once availability is confirmed, we are happy to reserve your accommodation by telephone or email for up to 5 days, pending receipt of your completed booking form and initial payment. A booking form is available for completion online or for printing (quick links on the right) or we can send you one by post or email.
Need to check dates first ? – depending on how soon your holiday is, we are happy to hold dates for you for a few days, giving you the time to arrange leave from work or check dates with other members of your party.
Your holiday is secure once we receive your booking form and deposit, and we have sent you confirmation. We request a 25% deposit with the booking and the balance is payable six weeks before arrival (please enquire about our low deposit options for holidays booked several months in advance). Payment can be by cheque or by bank transfer / internet banking – if you prefer this method of payment, just let us know and we will send you payment and bank details.

If using the post, your booking form and payment should be sent to: Forda Lodges & Cottages, Kilkhampton, Bude, Cornwall, EX23 9RZ. Cheques should be made payable to Forda Limited
You will receive a confirmation of your holiday booking once we have received your deposit and booking form.
Holiday Insurance and Cancellations
Insurance is strongly recommended to guests against unavoidable cancellation of their booking through accident, illness or other unforeseen circumstances. To avoid misunderstandings with our guests, we would remind you that a reservation constitutes a legal contract. In the event of a cancellation, both parties should endeavour to re-let the accommodation. Should neither party succeed, the person making the reservation is legally liable to pay the full amount of the accommodation. In most cases this legal liability can be covered by insurance. If you do not already have insurance, we advise you most strongly to arrange a suitable policy. If you have to cancel your holiday we will endeavour , without prejudice to our right to the full rental, to re-let the accommodation. If we do re-let, the deposit can be transferred in full to a new booking or returned, less a small administration charge.
